On November 10, 2017, the Mu Nu Sigma Alumnae Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. was chartered with a “technology-centric” approach by twelve audacious members of Sigma Gamma Rho: Nanette Brooks, Danielle Burton-Lee, Cassandra Cooks, Tania Cox, Bert Lee, Debra Lee, Christi Lewis, Keiarra Ragland, Sherry Roland-Washington, Cynthia Thomas, Monique Vaughn, and Deshawn Wiiliams-White.

The Mu Nu Sigma Alumnae Chapter has prioritized establishing partnerships with local schools, churches, and other community organizations to enhance the quality of life in York, Pennsylvania.

In the years since Mu Nu Sigma has grown tenfold and continues to welcome upstanding women into the sisterhood.
